“Fauda” Returns for Thrilling Season 5 — Filming Set to Begin This Spring

The adrenaline-fueled series Fauda is making a powerful comeback with its much-anticipated Season 5, set to start filming in late April. Known for its intense storytelling and heart-pounding action, the hit show will once again follow the lives of Israeli undercover operatives — but this time, the chaos won’t be confined to Israel. The new season will take the team on a high-stakes private mission overseas.

Currently in pre-production, Fauda Season 5 brings back a stellar creative team, including co-creators Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff, along with writer Omri Shenhar (Tehran) and director Omri Givon (Hostages). While the plot and cast details remain tightly under wraps, fans can expect the same gritty realism and emotional depth that have made Fauda a global phenomenon.

Sharon Levi, managing director of Yes Studios, shared her excitement: “In February 2015, Fauda premiered on Yes TV, and over the past decade, it has grown into an international success. What better way to mark this milestone than by giving our loyal fans another thrilling season.”

The road to Season 5 hasn’t been easy. Development was delayed following the tragic events of October 7, when Hamas attacked Israel, leading to the war in Gaza. Heartbreak struck the Fauda family directly — Matan Meir, a key member of the production, was killed in Gaza, and cast member Idan Amedi suffered severe injuries from an explosion. As a result, the upcoming season underwent significant rewrites.

Despite these challenges, Fauda remains committed to telling raw, powerful stories inspired by real-life events, shedding light on the complexities of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the modern-day Middle East.

Season 5 is set to premiere on Yes TV in Israel in early 2026, followed by a global release on Netflix.

For fans worldwide, the wait is almost over — the chaos is returning.
