Miles Teller Reveals Michael Jackson Biopic Filmed at Neverland Ranch—Calls It a “Wild” Experience!

Hollywood star Miles Teller has shared a surprising detail about the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic—parts of the film were actually shot at the legendary Neverland Ranch! Teller, who plays Jackson’s longtime lawyer John Branca, described the experience as surreal while appearing on Watch What Happens Live.

Neverland Ranch, once home to Jackson’s personal amusement park, has long been surrounded by controversy. Teller noted that the property had new ownership by the time of filming, but the production team recreated its iconic look for the movie.

The highly anticipated film, titled Michael, stars Jaafar Jackson—Michael’s real-life nephew—in the lead role, with Oscar nominee Colman Domingo portraying Joe Jackson. Billed as a deep and honest look into the life of the King of Pop, the movie has faced some production hurdles, including legal issues that forced major reshoots.

Originally set for an April 2025 release, Michael will now hit theaters on October 3, 2025. With its mix of music, drama, and real-life events, this biopic is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about films of the year!
