Steven Spielberg is back in action, filming his latest movie with a dazzling cast led by Emily Blunt — and you could be part of the magic! The Oscar-winning director is looking for New Jersey locals with cars to appear in a major scene set to film later this month in Middlesex County.
The movie, operating under the working title “Non-View” — though rumored to be called “The Dish” — has already brought Hollywood stars like Emily Blunt, Colman Domingo, Josh O’Connor, Eve Hewson, Colin Firth, and Wyatt Russell to various spots across North and South Jersey. Recent scenes were filmed in Montville, with Spielberg himself spotted alongside the A-list cast.
Now, there’s a unique opportunity for Jersey drivers to step into the spotlight as background actors, or extras, for a big scene scheduled for March 27.

This isn’t Spielberg’s first cinematic journey through New Jersey. The legendary filmmaker shot his 2021 adaptation of West Side Story in Paterson, and his 2005 sci-fi thriller War of the Worlds also unfolded across the Garden State. His ties to New Jersey run deep — he even depicted his childhood movie-going experiences in the state through his semi-autobiographical film The Fabelmans.
